Yes. It is allowed to install the child restraint in the rear seat, but then it must be installed with special fasteners or a special stand designed for child restraints.
Keep in mind that although there are no laws in Sweden for whether the car seat is front or rear-facing, you reduce the risks by up to five times by installing the car seat rear-facing. This is recommended until the child is at least 4-5 years old.
