Glossary
An illusion or illusion means that you see something that is not really there. Common examples of visual illusions are, for example, that you mistake a car with a broken headlight for a motorcycle and therefore drive far too close to it, or that a crooked road leads to you misjudging a turn.
There is an increased risk of experiencing an illusion or optical illusion if visibility is impaired, for example if it is dark outside or in heavy rain or snowfall.
