Road maintenance vehicles are vehicles used in connection with roadworks and are usually equipped with a warning lamp. They do not have to follow traffic rules about the location of vehicles on the road, you are therefore allowed to pass these vehicles on the side that is most suitable for the situation. You should use large safety margins when passing road maintenance vehicles as the driver can be focused on their tasks instead of the traffic.
