Yes. You must wear a helmet when driving a moped. Passengers under the age of seven can wear other suitable head protection, such as a riding helmet, ski helmet or bicycle helmet. You do not need to wear a helmet in a three- or four-wheeled moped with a body if you use a seat belt instead.
