How does it work to book a test?

Nowadays, you book an appointment for the theory test on the Swedish Transport Administration's website, where you log in with BankID. It is possible to book an appointment for the theory test and the driving test at the same time, but you need to have a passing final result from the theory test before you can take the driving test.

You can choose whether you want to pay the fees at the time of booking or at the time of taking the test. If you pay early, you can choose to pay by invoice, Swish or debit card. In the event that you need to reschedule your appointment or cancel your appointment, this can be done up to no later than 24 hours before the start of the exam.
