What does evasion mean?

Evasion is when a driver leaves the scene of an accident where he or she has been involved in a traffic accident. This is considered a serious crime, and if the accident resulted in personal injury, the punishment is imprisonment for the person who escaped. The driving licence will also be revoked in such cases. If the accident only involved damage to property, the penalty will be a daily fine and in some cases the driver's license will be revoked. To avoid evasion, you as a driver should always stay at the scene of the accident and do your best to help. Furthermore, you should also disclose your information to others involved in the accident.
