When you get a driver's license, you also need to have a picture of yourself to use for the driver's license. You need to have a picture ready before you take the theory test. You take the picture in a photo booth at the place where you are going to take the theory test.
Since you need to take your photo before the exam, it is a good idea to be there no later than 30 minutes before the exam time. Also bring a valid ID document such as ID or passport for this. If it should be the case that you do not have a valid ID document available, you can also bring someone who can certify your identity.
