Central vision

What is central vision? We explain the meaning of central vision and share exciting facts about central vision.

Central vision, also called direct vision, is where we focus with our eyes. This is the part that we see most sharply, but it only makes up about 1-2% of our entire field of vision. The remaining 98-99% is our peripheral vision, which mainly detects moving objects.
