Cornering technique or cornering is the way you maneuver your way through a corner, and is something that is important before you get a motorcycle license. Good cornering technique is to take the curve as straight as possible without leaving your lane.

The following are tips to make it easier to take corners correctly:

• Make sure to have a slower speed into the curve so you can throttle your way out of it.
• Keep your head horizontal and your eyes up
• Maintain a speed appropriate for the curve and road conditions
• Drive as straight as possible but avoid leaving your own lane
