Handling

Driving characteristics usually mean the way the car behaves. Driving characteristics vary between different cars depending on how they are designed, so it is a good idea to drive carefully if you are unfamiliar with driving a car.

Some examples of factors that can affect the car's driving characteristics are:

  • Position and weight of any load
  • If the car is rear, front, or four-wheel drive
  • What condition the car's shock absorbers are in
  • What condition the car's tires are in and if they have sufficient air pressure
