What are low beams? Here you will find a description of what low beam is and what rules apply in different conditions.
The low beam is basic in the sense that you must at least have it on even when it is light outside. It gives a shorter visibility distance than if the high beams were on, the advantage is that you do not have to dazzle other drivers that happens when the high beams are on. The dipped beam must not be combined with auxiliary lights, daytime running lights or fog lights.
