Glossary
Spare wheel is a tire that usually comes with the car when you buy it. The spare wheel, or emergency wheel, is there for if you get a puncture. Spare wheels are only for short distances, i.e. to the nearest workshop or place where you can change tires.
You may use a non-studded spare tire even if your other tires are studded, this is the only time you are allowed to drive with studded and non-studded tires.
To make sure your spare wheel works when you need it, check it regularly. Make sure the tire is filled with air and has good air pressure.
