Swivel space

What does swivel space mean? We explain what is meant by turning space and what it can look like in practice for different vehicles.

Turning space is the space needed for you to complete a turn. If you make a sharp turn, for example a U-turn, more space is needed than if you turn less sharply. Longer vehicles need more turning space, for example, buses and trucks need much more space to turn than a passenger car.
