A tram is a passenger vehicle for traffic on a tramway, the purpose of which is to transport passengers around the city in a street environment. Usually, the tram is designed to handle sharp curves and inclines. It often also has powerful brakes to be able to stop quickly in a street environment, as well as lighting and signage suitable for city traffic.
