Windscreen, also known as windscreen, is the window pane at the front of a means of transport, the purpose of which is to prevent the wind but still allow a view ahead. The windshield can be glued all the way around, or attached to the body with a rubber strip. On cars with glued windows, these are usually included in the self-supporting construction of the body.
