Does the exit rule apply in the parking lot?
Yes! The exit rule applies when exiting a parking space, but also in the following situations:
Property - (e.g. house or plot).
- Paths, property roads and similar roads.
- Pedestrian street, pedestrian area, hard shoulder or terrain.
- Pedestrian path or cycle path that has been crossed.
The exit rule means that you have an obligation to give way to all vehicles on the intersecting road.
