Glossary
ABS stands for Anti Blockier System and is a braking system that prevents the wheels from locking during heavy braking. This means you can maintain control of the steering even when braking hard. If the brake pedal pulses when you brake, it is a sign that the ABS brakes are working properly.
Advantages of ABS brakes:
Shorter braking distance: On most surfaces, braking distances are reduced with ABS brakes.
Reduced risk of skidding: Because the wheels do not lock, the risk of the car skidding is reduced.
Maintained steering: ABS brakes allow you to continue steering the car even when braking heavily.
