Accelerating overtaking

An accelerating overtaking is when you have to increase your speed to overtake a vehicle in front of you. This usually happens when you are behind a vehicle that is traveling at the same speed as you, and you need to accelerate in order to complete the overtaking. A flying overtake, on the other hand, is when you approach a slower vehicle at a higher speed and can overtake without having to increase your speed further. Accelerating overtaking is worse for the environment because it requires more fuel and leads to increased emissions, unlike flying overtaking where you can maintain a steady speed.
