Airbag

An airbag, or airbag as it is also commonly called, is a safety device in cars that is there to protect you and your passengers in the event of a collision. There are different types of airbags, the most common of which are located in the steering wheel and in the front passenger seat. Newer cars also have airbags located on the sides that protect against side impacts. You should sit at least 25 cm away from the airbag so that it does not injure you when it deploys. * It takes about 0.1 seconds for the airbag to fill with air. * You can be seriously injured if you do not wear a seat belt when an airbag deploys. * If you are using a child restraint in the front passenger seat, the airbag must be disengaged as it can seriously injure the child if deployed.
