Bus stop is a stop at the beginning or end or along a bus line, where the bus stops to drop passengers on and off. A bus stop is usually equipped with a sign that shows where the bus stops if necessary, as well as a possible waiting shelter.
It is important to drive carefully if a bus is parked at a bus stop as any passengers who have disembarked from the bus may suddenly step out into the street in front of or behind the bus.
