Glossary
Booster seat is a type of car seat that consists of both a seat cushion and a high backrest. The advantages of a booster seat include that the child gets side impact protection in addition to being able to use a seat belt.
Children should use a booster seat or booster cushion until they are about 10-12 years old or 135 cm tall. Some models of booster seats also have a removable back, which then turns the booster seat into a booster cushion.
