Narcotics are anesthetic or stimulants that affect the central nervous system and can cause addiction or damage. The medical term narcotics only includes sedatives and painkillers – especially opioids such as morphine and heroin
It is forbidden to drive if you have a narocotic substance in your blood, with the exception of those who for medical reasons use narcotic drugs prescribed by a doctor. Violation of this law is called drug driving and can result in up to 2 years in prison.
