A flying inspection is done by a police officer or a car inspector. This is done when you as a road user are out driving on the roads. Your vehicle is checked because the police suspect a crime or assess that the car is not roadworthy. This inspection can take place without warning and may lead to a driving ban or an inspection of the vehicle by an approved inspection company.
