Glossary
Front wheel skid occurs when the front tires of the car lose traction when cornering, for example. This allows the car to continue to move forward, even if you turn the steering wheel to the left or right. The root of the problem is that the front tires do not have enough grip to steer in the direction you want.
A front wheel skid is usually easier to lift than a rear wheel skid. To counteract a front wheel skid, you should start by stopping the throttle and letting the front wheels straighten. They then regain their grip thanks to the fact that they no longer spin, you can then safely steer the car in the desired direction.
