Heavy motorcycle

A heavy motorcycle is a motorcycle on two or four wheels whose engine has a displacement exceeding 125 cubic centimeters, a net power exceeding 11 kilowatts or a net power-to-kerb weight ratio exceeding 0.1 kilowatts/kilogram.

A heavy motorcycle can also be a motorcycle on three wheels with a net power exceeding 15 kilowatts. To be allowed to drive a heavy motorcycle, you need to have an A driver's license. To get an A driving licence, you must be 24 years old, if you have not first held an A2 driving licence for at least two years, then you can get an A driving licence already when you are 20 years old.
