Tunnel vision

Tunnel vision means that your scanning area becomes narrower and then also more difficult to detect things that happen on the side of the road, such as animals walking near the hard shoulder.

Tunnel vision occurs when driving at higher speeds, but there may also be other explanations such as fatigue, alcohol or stress. To avoid this, you should keep a more mobile eye and keep an eye on what is happening on the side of the road.
