Low ball pressure

What does low ball pressure mean? We explain what low ball pressure means, how it affects your car's behaviour and how to avoid low ball pressure.

Low ball pressure occurs if you load too very far back on the trailer, i.e. far away from the car. This causes the trailer to become very unstable and winding along the road, which gives a longer braking distance and increases the risk of suffering from the knife action. To get a good ball pressure, you should try to distribute the load as evenly as possible on the trailer.
