Motor insurance

Motor liability insurance is the only insurance available for the car that is mandatory by law. It is therefore illegal to drive the car on public roads if the motor insurance has not been taken out.

It is the owner and the person who mainly drives the car who take out this insurance. Motor liability insurance provides compensation for personal injuries to drivers, passengers and third parties. In addition, it covers damage to another person's property. However, it does not cover damage to your own vehicle, for this a vehicle damage insurance is required. In the event of an accident that was not caused by you and that caused damage to your vehicle, the person who caused the damage to the vehicle will cover.
