On a one-way street, there are only lanes in one direction. There is no oncoming traffic and all vehicles on the street are driving in the same direction. One-way streets are marked with road signs indicating the direction of the one-way street. The opposite end of a one-way street, i.e. the exit, is marked with the road sign prohibition of entry.
