What does extra light mean? We explain what extra lighting is and what rules apply to installing and using extra lighting.

Extra light is exactly as it sounds. It is an extra mounted lighting that is there to enhance the high beam lighting. Extra lights may not be combined with the dipped beam, but may only supplement the high beam. These lights are used, for example, to get an even longer line of sight or a wider light pattern. There are two different types of auxiliary lights:Cornering light, which is a wider and closer illuminationHigh beam, which is instead a longer and narrower illumination
