Speed Limit
Speed regulations are the principles that determine how speed is regulated on Swedish roads.
There are five different regulations that regulate speed:
- Legislated maximum speeds.
- Speed limits announced via prohibitory signs.
- Basic rules.
- Places where drivers must keep a sufficiently low speed considering the circumstances. This applies, for example, when you pass roadworks.
- Speed limits controlled by certain vehicles or vehicle combinations.
