To become a supervisor, certain criteria must be met. You must be 24 years old and have held your driver's license for at least five of the last ten years in order to be granted a supervisor's permit. You also need to take a supervisor course that is available at most driving schools to be able to become a supervisor. Once the application has been approved, it is valid for five years. It is important to keep in mind that as a supervisor, you have full responsibility for what happens during the drive with the student.
