How do you get a moped driving licence?

Moped driving licence, or driving licence with authorisation AM as it is also called, you can take from the time you have turned 15. If you already have a driver's license with other authorizations, you can automatically also drive a moped.

The steps to getting a moped driving licence:

1. Get a driving licence permit from the Swedish Transport Agency, you then fill out a form and do an eye examination.
2. Take a moped course. This training is at least 12 hours long and must consist of at least 4 hours of practical training. The training can also be longer than 12 hours if necessary. This training needs to be done by a qualified trainer.
3. Take the theory test at the Swedish Transport Administration. The theory test consists of a total of 70 questions and you can get a maximum of 65 points, this is because 5 of the questions are so-called test questions that do not count. For a passing grade, you need to answer at least 52 questions correctly, the total test time is 50 minutes.
