How do you reduce nervousness before the driving test?
Being nervous before the driving test is completely normal, regardless of whether it is your first driving test or if you have failed attempts behind you from before. However, there are a few things you can do to reduce your nervousness, or to make it easier to deal with.
- Be there in good time - that way you have time to prepare yourself mentally and can focus on relaxing or focusing before it's time to get started.
- Share - before you get in the car, you can always mention to your driving examiner that you are nervous. Then you can often talk briefly before you drive off, so that you can get answers to any questions or talk a little.
- Remember that you can - before you have booked an appointment for the driving test, you have practiced driving a lot. You have also received a passing grade on the theoretical test. So you can drive a car, even if it can be nerve-wracking, it's something you've been training for.
With these tips in mind, you can hopefully reduce stress a lot. If you are prepared and focused in the moment, it will probably go great, good luck!
