How to get a driver's license?

We have gathered all the steps to get your driver's license in a simple list to give you a smooth overview.

1. Apply for a driving licence permit from the Swedish Transport Agency.
2. Take the introductory training with a supervisor if you wish to practice driving privately.
3. Start studying theory and practice driving either privately or with a driving school.
4. Take risk training 1 and 2, also called risk one and risk two.
5. Take your theory test, also called the knowledge test, and get a passing result.
6. Take your driving test, also called the driving test, and get a passing result.

If you pass both tests, then the driver's license is yours, congratulations!
