A driving ban means that the vehicle may not be driven in traffic until it has passed the inspection. If you do not inspect your car within the inspection period, your car will automatically be banned from driving. The car can also be banned from driving if a police officer or car inspector discovers deficiencies or technical faults.
From the time your car has been banned from driving, it is illegal to drive the car until you have inspected it. However, you have to drive the shortest way to a workshop to repair the car.
