Excuse

What is an excuse? We explain the meaning of the word excuse and go through how it can relate to your skills as a driver.

An excuse means that you blame, for example, a mistake on external factors. By excusing one's own mistakes in traffic, you learn nothing and thus never become a better driver, so it is important to be able to be self-critical, even after you have obtained your driving licence, in order to continue to become a better driver.
