Glossary
The reflector is an optical product that is made of a material developed to reflect the light rays that meet the surface of the reflector. When a reflector meets the light from, for example, a car's headlights, the light is reflected, which means that the motorist can see you significantly better.
Reflectors are used with advantage in dark conditions, a person wearing reflectors can for example be seen up to 125 meters away in the dark, unlike a person without reflectors who can be detected as short as 25 meters away.
