A registration inspection is required when you have made a change or want to register your vehicle in Sweden. It is carried out to ensure the technical identity of the vehicle and ensure that it complies with safety and environmental requirements, as well as to establish data for the Road Traffic Register.
When your vehicle undergoes a registration inspection, it is a matter of registering a previously unregistered vehicle or getting changes to the vehicle approved. A vehicle inspection, i.e. a regular inspection of a car, is a regular inspection of the vehicles that are already on the roads in Sweden.
