A towing device or on passenger cars often called a towbar is a device that on a vehicle, such as a car, truck, tractor or bicycle, sometimes also on a moped, to be able to connect a trailer or other trailer.
Modern cars often have retractable towbars or detachable towbars, this is mainly for aesthetic reasons.
