Vehicle tax is a tax that you have to pay in order for your car to be allowed to travel on public roads. This payment of tax varies depending on the size of the vehicle, the environmental impact and the fuel it consumes. If the tax amounts to more than SEK 3600 per year, it is paid every four months, otherwise once a year.
