What is important to consider before getting a moped driving licence?

Getting a moped driving license is an exciting step, and for many people it is a first step in getting out into traffic. But it can also be overwhelming, so we have created this list of some things that are good to know or that are important to keep in mind before you get a moped driving license.

• To get a moped driving license for mopeds class I (AM), you need to be at least 15 years old and have passed the theory test at the Swedish Transport Administration.
• Before you can take the theory test, you must first have completed an AM training and get a passing grade. This training is valid for up to five years after completion.
• For those who are under 18 years of age when you book in for your AM test, there are special requirements. You must then pay the fee for the test and have been photographed no later than 25 hours before the start of the test. If you do not meet these requirements, your exam will be cancelled automatically.
