What does bogie pressure mean? We explain what bogie printing is and what it means in practice for drivers who use bogies.
Bogie pressure is a designation that indicates how high the pressure from a bogie on, for example, a truck is against the road surface. A bogie refers to when two axles of a vehicle are less than 2 metres apart. Depending on the permissible bearing capacity class for each road section, the permissible bogie load varies. If there is a limited bogie load on a stretch of road, this is usually signposted, this is common in the case of, for example, weaker bridges.
