Glossary
The term ecodriving is a technique used while driving to reduce fuel consumption. Your driving style affects your car's fuel consumption. By applying eco-driving, you can both save money and reduce pollutant emissions.
There are several different ways to apply ecodriving, or also so-called economical driving. For example, to drive economically, avoid unnecessary acceleration and braking, skip gears and engine brake when appropriate.
This technique is important during the driving test, where you are assessed on whether you take the environment into account during the driving test.
