Trailing Vehicle

A trailer is a piece of equipment or other equipment that is not a trailer or an off-road trailer but is connected to a car, tractor, motorised equipment or off-road motor vehicle. A trailer is not intended to carry goods.

Examples of trailing vehicles:

  • Compressed air compressor
  • Skylift
  • Kiosk wagon

Some vehicles that do not have suspension are classified as trailing vehicles even though they are intended for the transport of certain goods. This applies to

  • Boat transport trailers
  • Caravans
  • Tank trailers
