Indicator lights

Check engine lights, also known as warning lights, are lights that shine on the car's dashboard. These indicator lights refer to different things and come in different colors to signal its importance.

The different colors mean the following:

  • Green or blue light: Nothing wrong with the car, but a reminder that, for example, high beams are turned on.
  • Yellow light: A fault that is not too serious, you can often continue driving your destination and then check what is wrong.
  • Red light: This light generally means that there is a major fault or that an important function is not working properly. You should then stop as soon as possible, inspect and rectify the fault in a safe manner.
