Clutch

Clutch is a device that is mounted between the engine and the gearbox in manually geared cars. It is the mechanical part that transfers the rotational force from the engine to the tires of any manual vehicle.

The clutch is the part of the car that connects two or more rotating shafts in a manually geared car. It is an important part of the car's machinery because the engine generates power all the time and has parts that are constantly rotating. In order for the car to be able to both change speed and stand completely still without shutting down the engine, the connection between the tires and the engine must be broken.

When you press the clutch, the contact between the engine and the tires is broken, causing the tires to continue rotating on their own, allowing you, for example, to shift up to get up to a higher speed. When you release the clutch, the contact between the engine and the tires is recreated, and the tires rotate according to the engine's power.
