What is a light trailer? We explain the definition of a light trailer and what rules apply to them in practice.

Light trailer is also called a light trailer. All trailers are considered light if the total weight does not exceed 750 kg. However, a trailer over 750 kg can be counted as light as long as the trailer together with the car does not weigh more than 3.5 tonnes. In order to be able to tow heavier trailers, an extended B licence or BE licence is required.
