Speed bump is a traffic barrier that is set up to reduce the speed of traffic in places where high speed can lead to a lot of accidents. Speed bumps can consist of bumps, lateral movements or narrowings with the help of refuges that make it difficult to meet other vehicles and reduce speed.
It is common to encounter speed bumps in residential areas, residential areas or the central parts of villages and cities.
