A parking attendant, popularly known as "lapplisa" in Sweden, is an official who monitors parking spaces and that parking regulations are complied with. If a vehicle is parked incorrectly on street land, the parking attendant issues a parking ticket, and if the parking is incorrectly parked on private land, a control fee is issued.
